Statement of Purpose also known as Personal statement generally required by universities abroad stating details about you, your past academics, study gaps (if any), your goals and intentions, reason for the particular course and university, reason for not studying in the home country and future prospects of the chosen course etc. For Australia SOP is required for student visa and it shows proof of Genuine Temporary Entrant.
