OSHC i.e. is Overseas student health cover is mandatory for international students (some exceptions are there) who are going to study in Australia. It protects you against any illness or accidents that can happen during your stay.
OSHC is mandatory and required for full length for stay for your student visa. You should talk to various OSHC providers before choosing OSHC to ensure you receive the highest benefit.
